A binational effort, governed and funded in part by agreements between the United States government and Mexico is underway to restore the Colorado River Delta through floodplain and environmental flow restoration. AMP Insights has been a critical participant in this effort through the firm’s role in drafting and coordinating the ratification of a data sharing agreement between the 10 binational and interdisciplinary entities involved in this programmatic effort. AMP Insights has also created a cost and scenario optimization tool for investment in the various components of the restoration effort as dictated by the legal agreements between the United States and Mexico and informed by the restoration organizations’ budgets and expenditures. Additionally, AMP Insights identified and developed the social monitoring metrics that are currently undergoing continued analysis by the Program for inclusion into the monitoring metrics program protocols. Throughout our involvement, AMP Insights has reviewed documents and attended meetings central to strategic planning for the program’s design and allocation of funds.
